//It’s about the Escorter. / I have promised to some that the next album would be published in Tampere Kuplii. / But most of you can probably guess by now that that’s not gonna happen. You guessed right.//

//The few past months have been really busy, ’cause I’ve had to catch up with the 3D courses. / On top of that I lived in the delusion that I could make the comic in the same time I did during Orivesi.(the comic school) 2 sketches a day and so on. / However, during the few days before the Christmas holidays I started noticing some nasty symptoms of a burnout. / So during the holidays, when I was already late from schedule that maybe I should give myself more time with this comic. / School is the first priority in any case and during the spring I will be starting this game innovation project so I’d wear out pretty fast.//

//I am a workaholic, but not a robot. / So I know my limit now. I will get the comic done for sure, but there is no reason to rush it. I can almost certainly promise though that the comic will come out in the 2014 Helsinki Comic Festival.//

Juuh, elikkäs. Joulukalenteria en millään ehtinyt tekemään, koska oli nuo viimeset kuukaudet ihan liian täynnä taas työtä. Mutta teinpähän Seitille pari luukkua joulukalenteriin, että pistän ne nyt tännekin, jotka eivät niitä nähneet. Kannattaa mennä silti katsomaan, ne on kaikki oikeen hienoja! Sinne siis ->

//So I didn’t make any sort of calendar comic thing this year, ’cause these past months have simply been filled with work. But I did make two comics for Seitti on a similar event, so I shall post them here for those who haven’t seen them. You should still go check the others, they’re really good! //It sure would be nice if it snowed…/ Snow has been an essential part of Christmas at least for me / One Christmas was ruined, when it smelled like spring outside “YUCK!” / Hope this last until then!//

//Well now it’s snowing! / But let’s make that melt so there’s nothing but wet ice, so you’ll be sure to slip and split your head in half! / Oh, but now it’s snowing again! / Heh heh, but will it last until Christmas?//

No jos ois vaikka aika päivittää, kun spämmifolderissakin on 41 viestiä! Ei sillä, etten olisi näitä tehnyt, mutta jotenkin yliäänsä päivittäminen on jotenkin paljon suumerpi muuri…..

Anyhoo, tämäkin odotellut kansiossa jo oman aikansa. Pistän muitakin kunhan jaksan skannailla :Y

//Yup, been a bit of a long break with updating, since I haven’t drawn much either…/(I even lost my hair!)/ So sorry to those few possible ones, who missed these…seriously what do you see in these?/ The beginning of the summer was pretty much spent on stressing about where I get money. You know, the usual start of the summer for a student. / I also attended on an optional 3D course for Blender/ “Half the time I don’t know what’s going on, but this is kind of fun.”//

//Sure enough I got so exited about it that I transferred to 3D! Yaaaay! I thought it must be kind of crucial, since I want to make games./ And this one got already sunburnt this summer… It’s been deviously hot! So remember to use sun lotion!<3//

Eipä tuo ohjekaan ole enää kovin ajankohtainen, mutta bare with me :’D

//”I’m nervous…”/ Saturday was pretty quiet considering the sales. At least I got 4 Escorters sold./ On top of all I forgot my furhoodie at Vantaa! I had just washed it for this occasion, but forgot to take it with me…/ In the evening we went bowling with the Takontians./ After 3 rows with 0 points it started going quite okay.//

//On Sunday I got to socialize a bit. I went around the tables of Pienlehtimarssi and spoke to new and friendly people./ Although I did get nausic and dizzy at the end of the day. Tiredness started to get me…/ In the end I got 10 copies of the Escorters sold and even traded a few! I also got rid of some older comics!/ Thanks to all who bought The Escorter/came to say hi at the table! I wish you good times with the comics!//

COMING SOON

Kuten näette, olen alkanut jo tussaamaan Saattajan uusia sivuja ja päätin heittää tänne ensimmäisen “teaserin”. Kaikki sivut on jo tosiaan luonnosteltu, sekosin jo laskuissani, mutta niitä on jotain lähemmäs 40. Ja teksteihin oli pakko keksiä jotain ja minähän tiedän, kuinka kukaan ei jaksa odottaa tätä uutta julkaisua WINK WINK

Ja pientä infoa niille, jotka jo omistavat alkuperäisen Saattajan, nimittäin tässä uudessa painoksessa tulee olemaan uusien sivujen lisäksi vähän EXTRAA. Mitä se on, sen saatte tietää, kunhan olen vielä suunnitellut sen kunnolla ;)

//COMING SOON / As you can see I’ve started inking the new pages of  the Escorter and I decided to throw the first “teaser” in. All the pages have been sketched and I lost count, but there’s nearly 40 of them. I had to add something to the text fields there and I know how you can’t wait for this new publish WINK WINK / And a little info to those, who already own the original copy, since there’s also going to be a little EXTRA. What it is, I’ll let you know when I’ve finished the plans for it //

No huh, sainpahan päivitettyä. Tämäkin sarjis ollut jo ainakin kaksi viikkoa vihossa. Minusta on tullut siis laiskempi skannaamaan kuin päivittämään :B

Anygays, Saattaja ja koulu vievät tosiaan suurimman osan ajastani (jälleen kerran), joten päivittely täällä tulee olemaan vähäistä (töitäki pitäis ettiä!) Mutta on mulla jotain, mitä pitäis vielä tännekki piirtää, että yritetään~

//Phew, so I finally updated. This comic has been waiting in my sketchbook for two weeks too. So I’ve become lazier to scan rather than draw. / Anyways, The Escorter and school are consuming most of my time (yet again), so updating will be lesser (I should look for a job too!) But I still have something I should draw here so I’ll try~//

Kävipä sitten niin, että kun koulun kiireet hiukan hellittivät ja meikäläinen sai luvan pienelle levolle niin iski nurkan takaa mojova kurkkukipu ja nenä alkoi vuotaa kuin Niagaran putous konsanaan. Toivottavasti muilla kävi paremmin… Eli ei muutakun –

//So it happened that when the tasks in school were done and I got a permission to rest a bit a nasty sore throat appeared and my nose is running like the Niagara falls. I hope yall had it better… So I just want to say -//

Päätin nyt jotain tännekin toimittaa, kun on ollut viime viikkoina aika hiljaista. On käynyt mielessä päivittää, mutta kouluhommat ja muu ovat olleet aika etusijalla niin on valitettavasti jäänyt vähemmälle. Toivotaan nyt, että se tästä hiukan hellittää…

//How do you sell so good?/ The Escorter was sold out in the last convention so unfortunately I can’t sell anymore copies/ But the comic is on smackjeeves in English, so I linked it to the side of this page, because the blog version was tough to read/ And yes there’ll be the republished version, but that will propably come out at the next Helsinki’s comic festival, though it’s not yet certain…//
